MAKING A DIFFERENCE OUTSIDE OUR DOORS: OUTREACH / SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

VOLUNTEERS IN ACTION

“Where is God calling YOU to be a Servant?” Everyone has a niche’ that feels comfortable, but sometimes we are asked to step out of our comfort zone. VIA serves primarily low-income seniors & people with disabilities (mainly blind individuals). We engage with them to build a relationship rather than simply perform a task. We have an abundance of client/friends but we’ve simply run out of long-term volunteers. If God’s calling you, will you call us?  kellis@volunteersinaction.info or 303-713-9144……we’ll help you find a place to serve!!

CASCADE OF HOPE—SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

The mission of Cascade Kids Club (CKC), opened to girls AND boys, is to help connect kids into a living, dynamic relationship with one another. Our vision is to see kids around the Cascade of Hope community actively and enthusiastically expressing love for one another.  They are always looking for people to visit, help with crafts, and share a Bible lesson with these children.  See Pastor Victor or Sandra if you would like to volunteer to help 1-2 times a year.

CASCADE OF HOPE CRC

Pastor Victor is hoping and praying that two families or couples from Hope Fellowship will commit to attending church services at our daughter church, the Cascade of Hope for a period of 3 – 6 months.  Services are every other Sunday at 2:00 p.m.   Pastor Victor’s desire is that these families or couples will get to know the congregation at Cascade of Hope by interacting with them on a more personal basis as well as helping him with the services. If you are interested in being the “hands and feet of Christ,” please contact Pastor Victor at 303-639-6007 or  Adventemb@msn.com.

Victor and Sandra are now conducting classes for the teachers of the future ESL (English as a Second Language) classes. These classes are an outreach tool for their ministry “Cascada de Esperanza CRC” (Cascade of Hope CRC). They also have computer classes. Their ministry meets at Hillcrest CRC, where they are using the building to conduct their ESL classes and computer classes. They also hold their weekly Bible studies there. Please pray for Victor and Sandra as they minister to the Spanish-speaking people.
