INTERNET SERVICE UPDATE
The internet at the church has been unavailable since July 21, and we are continuing to work with our provider to restore service. This means:
• Our church office phones are unavailable.
• Our livestream may continue to be affected until internet service is restored.
Thank you for your patience as we work through this unexpected challenge. If you need to contact staff, please contact us on our personal cell phones or email us.
HOPE'S HIKERS
Everyone is invited for a moderate trail hike at Silver Dollar Lake on Monday, August 17. If you want to carpool from church, we will leave at 8:00 am. After the hike, we will grab lunch together in Georgetown. Please login to Church Center to RSVP HERE by Friday, August 14 if interested.
WEDNESDAY EVENING DINNER AND C.A.R.E. CLOSET DISTRIBUTION
Our next dinner and community gathering will be on Wednesday, August 19 from 5:30-7:00 pm outside on the lawn (weather permitting). All are invited to come and enjoy a meal together, play some outdoor games, and enjoy fellowship with others.
C.A.R.E. CLOSET OFFERING
For the month of August, we are looking for specific donations of: chapstick, dental floss, and deodorant along with other items from List B on our collection schedule. Please click HERE to view our Amazon wishlist. You may have these items sent directly to the church office or bring them with you on the last Sunday of the month for our donation offering during the service. Your continued support of this ministry is much appreciated!
HOPE'S BOOK CLUB
As a new ministry season quickly approaches, Hope’s Book Club invites you to start reading the selected book for the month of September. The Turtle House by Amanda Churchill is a story that explores the themes of family, love, and identity alternating between wartime Japan in the 1930s and 40s and rural Texas in 1999, weaving together the lives of a grandmother and her granddaughter. There are plenty of copies of this book available at the Denver Public Library, both hardcover and online. Book Club meets on the third Wednesday of every month at 7:00 pm in the church library. All are welcome!
