FALL FESTIVAL KICK-OFF
On Sunday, September 13, we’ll kick off a new ministry year with our annual Fall Festival. Come enjoy tacos and ice cream bars together outside after service from 10:45 am to 12:30 pm. Have some fun with outdoor games, face painting, crafts, Splash the Pastor, and our jumpy castle and slide. Invite your friends and neighbors to join us for an afternoon of fun and fellowship.
WORSHIP DIRECTOR WELCOME
The Council and Worship Leader Search Team are excited to announce the hire of Matthew DeHarte as our new worship leader. We give thanks to God for His provision. We were impressed with Matt’s experience, his leadership ability, his love for Jesus, and his excitement to join the staff at Hope. Matt's first Sunday leading worship will be September 13. We look forward to welcoming Matt and beginning this new chapter together!

Our next dinner and community gathering will be on Wednesday, September 16 from 5:30-7:00 pm outside on the lawn (weather permitting). All are invited to come and enjoy a meal together, play some outdoor games, and enjoy fellowship with others.
HOPE'S BOOK CLUB
Hope’s Book Club invites you to read the selected book for the month of September. The Turtle House by Amanda Churchill is a story that explores the themes of family, love, and identity alternating between wartime Japan in the 1930s and 40s and rural Texas in 1999, weaving together the lives of a grandmother and her granddaughter. There are plenty of copies of this book available at the Denver Public Library, both hardcover and online. Book Club will hold its first meeting of the new ministry season Wednesday, September 16 at 7:00 pm in the church library. All are welcome!
HOPE'S HIKERS
Everyone is invited for a moderate hike on the East Shore Trail in Grand Lake on Monday, September 21. If you want to carpool on Monday morning, we will leave church at 7:30 am. You can also make this an overnight trip. Find a place to spend the night in Grand Lake and join us on Monday morning at the trailhead. Please login to Church Center to RSVP HERE by Wednesday, September 16 if interested.
YOUTH GROUP
All youth currently in 6th-12th grade are invited for our first gathering of the new ministry year on Sunday, September 27, after church upstairs in the room adjacent to the Youth Room upstairs. There will be donuts, juice, and time spent getting to know one another and talking about the upcoming year. Invite your friends! Parents, if you have any questions, please contact Pastor Sheri who will be leading this group.
